Breakfast and lunch will be provided at no cost to all students next school year! We are pleased to inform you that Buncombe County Schools will be implementing a program available to schools participating in the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Programs called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). We will also implement Universal Meals at Nesbitt Discovery Academy (NDA). What does this mean for you and your child(ren)? Great news! All enrolled students at Buncombe County Schools are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no cost to your household each day of the school year. Parents (except those with students at NDA), there are no action steps for you to take at this time to participate in this program. We look forward to serving your students beginning August 28, 2023. Erwin High - Attendance summer school is available June 19-22. Call the school at 232-4251 to sign up. $50 for the first class, and $25 for additional classes.

Rising Seniors - Reminder that Senior portraits are this Wednesday and Thursday, June 14 & 15. Appointments are available at prestigeportraits.com Make-up times will also be available in the fall.

Erwin High - Graduation is tomorrow at 9:00 AM in the stadium. Parking will be available in all lots of the high school and middle school, including the bus lot behind the school. Please do not block traffic lanes, gates, or park in the road.

Erwin Seniors- We will meet in the auditorium at 9:00 AM on Friday for graduation rehearsal. Please be prepared to pay off any final debt/fees and return all school technology.

Erwin High - Any student needing Attendance Summer School to recover course credits due to absences should collect sign-up information from student services. Sessions will be June 19-22.

Erwin High- Exams this week. 1st period exam on Monday. Parents, if you're signing out your student during the review periods next week please send an email to Rachael.Oliver@bcsemail.org the day before or morning of.

Erwin High- Please provide all past unsubmitted absentee excuse notes by June 2. Friday, June 2 and Friday, June 9 will be 8:00 AM starts for review & exams. Exams are June 5-9. Attendance make-up is every day through June 2.

Erwin High- Monday is Memorial Day Holiday and school is closed. Attendance make-up after school through June 2. Friday will be an 8:00 AM start.

Erwin Seniors- The senior picnic is Friday. Permission slips are due Wed. morning. Students report to the auditorium at 8:20 AM. Students must ride the bus—no private vehicles. Check the senior Google Classroom for details.

Erwin High- Students, please resolve all cafe, media, & parking fees. Attendance make-up sessions everyday after school. Students should verify attendance made up with Student Services.

Erwin High- Tuesday- Senior Awards, 6:00 PM in the stadium. Thursday- Dance Showcase, 6:30 PM in the Auditorium. Friday- Senior picnic.

Erwin High- Tuesday, Athletic Banquet, 6:00 PM. Wednesday, 2nd-semester PBIS reward trip. Thursday, Chorus Concert, 6:30 PM.

Erwin High - The exam review schedule begins June 2nd with End of Course exams taking place June 5th - 9th. Friday, June 2nd and Friday, June 9th will be 8:00 AM starts to accommodate the review and testing sessions.
