Bus 93 AM & 720/509 PM will have altered routes this week. Due to bridge/road closure, no service to Old Leicester Hwy between Mt Carmel Rd & Bear Creek Rd.
Reminder: Before you go to bed Saturday night, set back your clock one hour, as we return to standard time. All Buncombe County Schools resume regular schedules beginning Monday, Nov. 4.

11/8 - Senior meeting at 9:30 in the auditorium for graduation order info.
11/20 - Senior photos.
11/22 - Herff-Jones at lunch to take cap & gown orders.
12/5 - Financial Aid sessions in English and Spanish 6-730pm.

As a reminder, tomorrow is no longer an early dismissal. Due to calendar changes associated with days missed due to the storm, tomorrow will be a 2 hour delay and 3:00 PM dismissal. Halloween costumes & accessories, masks, face paint, etc. should not be brought to school.
REMINDER: All Buncombe County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay for students each day Monday, Oct. 28 through Friday, Nov. 1. #TogetherWeRise

The deadline for disaster relief D-SNAP food benefits is tomorrow. Even if you didn't qualify for SNAP previously, you may now. Visit ncdhhs.gov or call 1-844-453-1117.
All Erwin buses except Bus 54 will resume their regular route Friday on 2 hr. delay.
Bus 54 students on Mulberry Street and Lakeshore Drive in Woodfin will be picked up at the intersection of Elk Mountain Road and Elkwood Avenue until further notice. Email stefanie.hill@bcsemail.org for assistance.

School resumes for students on Friday, Oct. 25 with a 2 hr delay & remains on a 2 hr. delay through Friday, Nov. 1. School will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 5 for elections.
We anticipate hosting athletics on campus and will release specific info as plans are confirmed.

We have resumed extracurricular activities and invite you to support our athletes this week. All events are at TC Roberson. Volleyball plays Friday at 12 PM & 2 PM, Saturday at 10 AM & 12 PM. Football plays Friday at 7 PM. Cross Country runs Saturday at 10 AM. This weeks events are FREE to enter!

BCS families and teammates, thank you for all of your efforts at home and in the community to recover from the devastation of the hurricane. Our hearts continue to be with you.
We want to let you know Buncombe County Schools will remain closed until it is safe to open. That will require power and water restored to our buildings. We are grateful to the repair crews who are working hard to make that happen. However, there is substantial work to be done. To help families plan, we will give you adequate notice when we know a date when it is safe for Buncombe County Schools to reopen.
Please continue to take care of yourself and your family. Our theme for this year is “Together We Rise” - and recovering for this storm will demonstrate that. Thank you so much!
