Meet the Testing Staff

The Testing Staff of Buncombe County Schools is here to assist each school during each test given by the State of North Carolina. They handle all materials issued by the State and distribute them to the schools. The director also trains all of the school test coordinators to prepare their staff and school for testing. One could say the testing department is the middleman between the State and the school system. They also handle all policies and procedures issued by the State for giving each test and making sure all state rules and guidelines for testing are enforced. The staff is available to answer any questions or concerns with testing and the testing process.

Meg Bryant
After living many places in the United States, my family settled in Asheville in 2014.  I started working for Buncombe County Schools in 2017 as the data manager for Reynolds Middle School. In November of 2021, I was fortunate to move to the Testing Department at the district office.  I feel so lucky to work and support all the amazing, smart and friendly people that make up the Buncombe County School District with its forty-five schools
