Why Join?
As a member of the OMS PTO, you join a community that encourages student achievement and helps enrich the learning environment. We believe in building partnerships between our families and our school. If you have not joined, we would like to encourage you to become a member. 

Academic Improvement
The PTO allows you to be involved in your child's education. Every study ever conducted on the relationship between student performance and parent involvement shows that when parents are involved in education, student academic performance improves.

Direct Impact
Your membership in the PTO has a direct impact on our children and the quality of our school. PTO has the ability to make a school a better place for children to learn. Our own PTO can address the needs of our school.

The PTO does not expect you to contribute and participate in everything, but it is proven that our children definitely benefit if you are involved! Your time, participation and financial contributions are so important to the success of our family here at Owen Middle School. We all benefit from our members and new ideas!
