Warrior of the Month February 2020

Warrior of the Month February 2020
Posted on 03/03/2020
Ellie MuntapongErwin High School continued the Warrior of the Month program for the 2019-2020 school year this February. Sponsored by PBIS, Warrior of the Month recognizes students from each grade level and members of the staff as finalists, followed by one winner from each grade level and one staff member for being excellent examples of one of the core values (PRIDE) in our school. For February, that value was Diversity.

We have made some changes to the process this year. Finalists for students come from the PBIS Rewards program which allows staff to award students points when they show any of the five core values. The five (or more in the case of ties) students with the most points for the core value that month become the finalists, then all staff and students vote on the finalists to choose the winner. Staff finalists are still generated by nomination, and then voted on by all staff and students.
