February Warriors of the Month

February Warriors of the Month
Posted on 02/26/2019
Sydney KingErwin High School continued to recognize students and faculty as part of the new Warrior of the Month program in February. Sponsored by PBIS, Warrior of the Month recognizes five students from each grade level and the staff as finalists, followed by one winner from each grade level and one staff member for being excellent examples of a specific character trait in our school. For February, that trait was integrity. Nominations ran from February 1-15. Each nomination requires a written explanation of how the nominee shows integrity, as all voting after the nominations is anonymous and use the explanation as opposed to the nominees' names. The PBIS team then narrows the nominees to five finalists, and voting is open to all students and staff February 19-22. Finalists were announced on the afternoon of Friday, February 22 and winners were announced on the morning on Monday, February 25.

Warrior of the Month will continue in March with a focus on diversity.
