Voznyuk, Anita - English

Greetings parents and students!

My name is Anita Voznyuk and I am thrilled to be in my first year of teaching full time at Erwin High School. Not too long ago I was a student here myself. In my four years of high school I played tennis, sang in choir under the direction of Bob Johnson, served as the Student Body Vice President, and participated in school stage productions. I believe extra-curricular activities paired with academic rigor is a prescription for high school success.

After high school I attended Lee University in Cleveland, TN where I majored in English and continued there at the Helen DeVos College of Education to receive a Masters in Education. After moving back to Asheville and  subbing all over Buncombe County, I quickly realized that Erwin would always have my heart. It is an honor to be back at my alma mater, giving back to the community that had equipped me.

I consider it my duty and a privilege to teach freshman English where I can instill a mindset of PRIDE toward this school in my students who will call Erwin their home for the next four years. I believe in the possibilities for every student who is willing to put forth just a little bit of grit in order to achieve excellence.

Please contact me should you have any questions or concerns!

Best,

Ms. Anita Voznyuk
