Undergrad:
I've been a teacher since 2003, teaching one year in upstate New York (2003-04), eight years in rural Seldovia (2004-2012), Alaska, three years in Charlotte (2012-2015), and now here at Erwin (2015- ). My teaching experience has been varied; farming community in New York, off the road-system living in Alaska teaching 4th grade math up to pre-calc and many science class, and urban Charlotte.
My wife, children, and I enjoy hiking and being in the mountains, and that is what brought us out to Erwin. My other interests include kayaking, camping, and having a small family farm.
